"To me, you are perfect"
That's what I want, that's what I need. Note another British movie: Bridget Jones' Diary and another favorite line:
"I like you just as you are".
Like I said, that's all I want....okay, you got me; I've been to happy hour and I had quite a few drinks. Nonetheless, I'm not changing who I am for anybody.....
I think Tom Petty said it best.....
Well I don’t know what I’ve been told You never slow down, you never grow old I’m tired of screwing up, I’m tired of goin’ down I’m tired of myself, I’m tired of this town Oh my my, oh hell yes Honey put on that party dress Buy me a drink, sing me a song, Take me as I come ’cause I can’t stay long.............
But that's just me.....cra-azy!
Well, I liked that movie, but I usually don't get into 'love' movies too much. It seems like a couple hours is way too short to describe a relationship, and it gives people this idea of instant love, where I think that in real life real love sort of sneaks up on you and amazes you and I honestly don't think most people have ever experienced it or ever will.
You might like cinema paradiso, though. It is very touching on some level, though there is a lot more to it than a love story.
